Very nice pen case February 12, 2013

I've been using this case for a year now, daily transporting my pens to and from work. It does an excellent job of protecting my pens. After a year of use it shows very little wear. The only minor issue I found was aligning the pens with the pocket clips straight up puts some wear on the underside of the flap and would no doubt eventually wear the pocket clip as well. Simply turning the pens slightly so the pocket clip is to the side solves the problem nicely. This pen case was a bit of a splurge for me, but every time I pull a pen out of it I get that little bit of joy that comes from using extremely well made products. And it still has that wonderful leather smell too. I'm very happy with this purchase. If you have nice pens you want to protect, I'm sure you'll find this a useful product too.

Very nice case that will provide a reasonable level of protection for your fine pens. Might be a tight squeeze with some of the biggest pens, but average size pens fit with room to spare. The strap the flap tucks into seems a bit on the flimsy side and I'm concerned the stitching will eventually rip on it, but the case does come with a lifetime warranty so I assume Aston will repair it without charge. Overall, I'm quite pleased with this purchase. It allows me to safely carry four pens, more than adequate for most situations, without the bulk of the larger case I used to carry.

Having searched for some months I was delighted to find a 4 pen case. I purchase one for myself. A colleague had a similar need so I bought another on his behalf. This purchase was smooth apart from the cost of entry into the UK,. For some reason the US and UK customs totally mistook the contents and value of the pen case. This was resolved after a little effort. The cases are excellent and have been most useful.
