         These gloves work very well in keeping fingers warm, unless the hands are already cold when the gloves are first put on. In that situation, the gloves are not able to capture any warmth from the hands to store/use in re warming the cold fingers. If the gloves are put on normal temperature hands in a relatively warm environment, they work well in retaining warmth outdoors over a long period of time. The quality of the leather andoverall construction is good and the fit wel.
