I used to be a fan of Smartwool, but after wearing these Coolmax ones hunting and hiking in the South Texas desert, I'm not going back. My feet stayed cool and pampered during a hot 50 mile safari. They are darn expensive and worth every penny.

Because I liked these so much while hiking in Glacier Nat'l Park, I bought some for my husband for Christmas. He gave a solid thumbs up & said he liked them better than his usual wool socks.

I bought four pairs of the Darn Tough Boot Socks because I saw a TV show on how they are still made 100% in the USA. I figured a sock was a sock. Wrong! These are nice socks, support my feet well and keep them warm and dry. They appear to be made so as to wear a long time. I will buy more of these and some of the other styles Darn Tough makes.
