This safari shaped hat is made of Solarweave® treated cotton material. It has a cotton chin cord, a dark green underbrim, mesh sides and a 3" brim. The Solarweave® fabric is a sun protective material designed to be lightweight and to provide cool comfort, and UV protection factor of 40+. This hat also features CoolMax® fabric for moisture management.

My husband loves DPC hats and this one was perfect for his big head. Sounds like an insult but really he has a big cranium and on top of that very little hair, so baseball caps just don't do the trick. This hat has a breezeway across the top with the open weave crown so it keeps his head cool and dry, and the wide brim protects his ears and face from too much sun. It's made very well and as long as you don't wash it in the washing machine like I did the one he had before this one, it will last years.

This hat fits true to size. It is first quality andit's appearance reflects that quality. I would recommendthis hat to anyone that is interested in this design ora protective type hat. Great price. What else can I say... go for it.
