Love These Gold Toe Cushion Tec Socks ! July 19, 2012

These are my favorite socks because they have the thickest sole of all the socks I've tried. They're great for athletics as well as casual wear. Beware though, Gold Toe has different styles with different sole thicknesses. If you want this type of sock, make sure you get the "Cushion Tec" variety.

Love Gold Toe Cushion Tec! - I bought these to replace my women's cushion tecs, which have been discontinued (please bring them back!!!). The fit is not as perfect as women's version, but close enough (ankle part is slightly taller, and a bit tighter than the women's version of this sock, but the foot part fits virtually the same for a woman's foot). (I wear size 8 1/2 women's shoes). I have worn Gold Toe cushion tec for years, these are the best socks for the cushion they provide, and looser ankle elastic (I have looked far and wide for socks that don't fit too tight around the ankle and have found these are the best). Past Gold Toe socks I have purchased were made in the US - these are made in Mexico, but seem to have same quality. Also, purchased here at shoebuy they were a great value and fast, free shipping. Will definitely purchase again.

Very Comfortable socks...soooo soft and great support!Worth every penny! My feet are very difficult and one of the big things I like about these socks is that they stay really soft wash after wash! I LOVE them!

First of all, I am female, but I have big feet, so men's socks are often better for me. I am on my feet all day at work, so have some foot problems. I learned that acrylic socks are better for your feet than cotton (common misconception that cotton is better) because the acrylic is better at wicking moisture, and the fibers don't mash down and become hard and scratchy when they get damp. I have found this to be true. Sometimes after wearing cotton socks all day my toes would be sore and red as if I had had sand paper in my shoes! I can wear these fluffy acrylic socks for a long day at work and they still feel as soft and cushy as they did when I first put them on in the morning. They are also made in the shape of a foot, as opposed to some socks that just look like aChristmas stocking or tube. They are also rather thick, which for me is great in that it adds extra cushion, comfort, and shock absorbtion. These are very fitted and they even offer a bit of support at the arch. They are also not tight around the ankle, which can be a problem with some socks actually cutting off the circulation. They fit well and are snuggly enough that they stay in place all day and don't slip down. All in all, these socks are superb quality, excellent fit, and most of all, VERY comfortable!
