Products wearing the Harley-Davidson insignia have gained a reputation for being stylish, high quality, and affordable. This rather wide assortment of HD hats are no less exemplary of that tradition. After one visit viewing all the many available styles, even the Mad Hatter himself would be persuaded to trade-in his old top hat for one of these new soft and stylish crushable wool felt cowboy hats.Such stylish hats should be given names rather than listed by number, but this HD-18 is somewhat unique from the other wide brim western styles because of its low profile crown. The ads can't quite decide if it is a pinch-front style or cattleman style crown, but in combination with its narrower brim, this hat is an Outback, and so it is perfect for the active guys and gals who can appreciate wearing a good looking outdoors hat for protection from the elements during those all day adventures.Notable also is that the HD-18 is the only hat in the entire Harley-Davidson line-up available in brown soft crushable wool as well as black. The hat has a mesh sweatband inside among more HD logos, and the outside crown is adorned with a leather hatband with the familiar HD Motorcycles emblem in the front and two smaller emblems on the sides. This wonderful hat can be packed away and will pop right back to its original shape when ready to wear it again.The medium size I received was a little bigger than the sizing charts specify, but that was easily fixed with a little spacing material.
