i have other henschel bush hats,last summer i discoved that their weight was more in the spring and fall weather group.this hat,with a little breeze will keep your head cool and shaded from the sun and heat.i work outside and this is a great hat.

I was looking for a summer hat that would be cool and with a wide enough brim to keep the sun off my face and neck. The 5300 fits the bill. I'm very pleased with the quality construction.

I found this hat in a farm store almost 8 years ago. It has been an EXCELLENT hat for me. Well ventilated to reduce hat hair/head. Cool for the 90-100 degree days of our southern summers...the hat string for gusty wind. It is even easy to clean by spritzing with a gentle cleaner then hosing off in the kitchen sink! I was desperate to find a replacement and I finally found one here. I'm a very happy horsewoman!

It is my third 5300 hat. My last 2X large was a bucket for even my big head and I had to return, and the X large replacement was big also. The prior hats were perfect fits. It was worth a chance for sure!
