This jacket is extremely well-made, very comfortable and warm. Look is great. The chest and sleeves fit perfect, especially for layering, but the bottom cuff drops below the waist and is not a snug fit. I think a smaller size might be too tight in the chest and short in the sleeves. The hood has a very odd way of tightening, and I'm not sure it would stay up on a windy day.

Very comfortable January 11, 2013

This jacket is very comfortable and has a nice interior that protects all parts of your face that happens to come in contact with the jacket. I purchased a size medium and I am 5'9" and weigh 185lbs, athletic build, the fit is very good. The sleeves are only slightly longer than what I typically prefer to wear but this is standard for most types of winter jackets as it allows you to move your arms more freely when performing activities. It feels quite warm as well. I personally returned the jacket, however. Not because of any defect or dislike necessarily but more so because it was a bit too puffy for my tastes and as I said before the sleeve was slightly too long...I am picky. For my use during the winter months in NY I do not need a coat that is puffy and I prefer styles that are slimmer on the body. For my athletic build it turns out to be a difficult task to find such a jacket but for most people this jacket would be perfect and comes in different colors. I would have given it a 5-star rating if it wasn't for 2 things:1 - The material used in the cuffs and waist. It feels a little too loose for me: there is very little "spring" feel to the material, to keep it nice and tight.2 - To tighten the hood, there is an elastic string in the back of the head! What kind of non-sense is that!?!I bought a medium, I'm 6' and 170lbs, and it fits really nice.So far, it has been extremely comfortable and warm, although I've only had in 32F weather with somewhat strong wind, with just a dress shirt and undershirt. It is not too bulky, I can drive without any issue.
