Well made, but not well designed January 03, 2012

I like the quality of these mitts. There is no question that they are some of the warmest on the market. However, the thumb is in the wrong position with relation to the fingers. If my thumb is all the way in, my fingers are too long for the end of the mitt. If my fingers were straight, my thumb was not in the mitt all the way. I am tall and thin with size large hands. But my fingernails are not long and do not contribute to the problem. I have never had this problem before with any other mitt or glove. I think these mitts are well made and I have no problem with the price point. I think it's just that Marmot and I are not a "good fit".
