Great jacket for travel December 21, 2011
Reviewer: Jules from Atlanta Georgia
I bought this jacket as a gift for my husband, an airline pilot. This jacket packs small and is warm enough for many climates. Also, can be layered with a rain jacket over for wet weather. Jacket does run large. Hubby usually wears a XL but the large is perfect. I also have this in women's, and wear the small versus my usual size of medium.

Perfect balance of warmth and weight December 14, 2011
Reviewer: progressweasel from Nashua, NH
It is a sweater not a jacket but it has nice pockets (hand warmer and interior) and seems very well built. I have worn it alone and as an outer and inner layer and I have been very impressed. I have never been a big supporter of down as it is horrible when wet but this sweater is very light and warm do under 30F (0C) with wind so I have no complaints. It will be a well worn portion of my outdoor wardrobe this winter and in winters to come.

excellent compact jacket October 15, 2009

The jacket is very light weight but keeps warm and is not bulky. It's very easy to pack (doesn't take up much room) - great jacket for traveling to colder places.

Best base-layer I have ever had. March 22, 2008
Reviewer: Joel from Chicago
This jacket fit to size. Is extremely light weight with absolutely NO BULK, but much warmer than any fleece jacket I have ever owned (and I have owned many). It is the perfect base layer for winter wear, whether around town or hiking/camping. It has shown no wear and tear after everyday use for the past 4 months. It can easily be worn alone on warmer days 20-30 degrees. And on really cold days (-0 degrees) it pairs great with a soft or hard shell jacket.
