Our venerable Stand Up Shorts have been an outdoor standard since the earth cooled, or shortly thereafter. This Season we've gone back to the original rugged, 10-oz canvas fabric. Stand Up Shorts® are made from rugged 10-oz organic cotton canvas to thwart climbing's abusive tendencies. They're rugged yet comfortable, and with three available inseams, you can get them the length you feel best in. Doubled fabric in the seat increases durability and forms two rear pockets; a set-in pocket holds a wallet. The hardworking canvas softens and personalizes with age. Garment-washed. Inseam is 7". Regular fit. Imported.

Excellent Shorts and Value October 15, 2009

I ordered 2 pairs after wearing a pair with a 5" inseam for a couple of months. I like the slant cut of all pockets but could do without the velcro closures; buttons are better. The fabric, fit, and washability are excellent. I'm 6'2" and 160 pounds, so it's difficult to find shorts that aren't too full cut. These aren't. One of the two pairs had a small waist compared to the other and the 5," so I will exchange it for another of same waist size. I recommend these.
