I bought this for my husband, to replace an ancient one that he has used forever. It's slightly bulkier than the one he has, but very comparable, overall. He hasn't changed from his old one, yet, as there is an emotional attachment...it was given to him by his Grandfather, who is deceased. However, the old one is really falling apart, so I believe that he will probably change it to this new one at some point.

I wanted to avoid carrying my checkbook, so I bought this double money clip with a flip ID window for my driver's license; a money clip to hold some check ledger pages to record credit card purchases and a couple of checks to use when needed. I took the clip mechanism out of the other clip portion and hoped to put a mini pen in there. The pens that are thin enough are too long; the shorter pens are too thick. I have tried to stretch the old clip mechanism with neatsfoot oil and screw drivers. It isn't working out, so off to the shoe repairman to see what else can be done. There is a mini pen that telescopes and is just a little too thick. I also bought a Royce flip ID andsingle money clip, and like it. But it only has three credit card slots.
