Soft and cushioned socks. My last pairs of Thorlo's are 8 years old and are beginning to wear through. I wear them frequently as a floor nurse. These new ones are very soft and have a nice cushion. They do run small. I wear a size 6 shoe, never a 6.5. These size small socks (4-6) are very tight.

I have been buying Thorlo socks through Shoebuy.com for quite some time. This is my first time for buying these particular socks but I do have one other pair of these style that I received as a gift. I used them in the winter during cold spells when I walk to keep my ankles warm. They do the trick.

I am getting older, (59) and want to protect my back, ankles knees etc....and that starts with one's feet. Any extra padding and support I can get-I'll take! These socks are so padded, feels as if you're exercising on marshmallows! My husband (who is 18 years younger than me) runs 6 miles a week, loves them too!

These socks are thick but not bunchy and provide the comfort, cushioning and support I want. In addition they help keep my feet in good alignment in my shoes.Thorlos have proved to be my favorite athletic socks.
