         This is a great sock with padded stitching on the soles. The height of the sock is about the same as a high top shoe. They are very comfortable to walk in. This has been a very durable long lasting sock so maybe that makes up for the premium pricing. I use this sock for walking and jogging and have had great success with it for keeping my feet in good shape. I usually double sock with this being the inner sock.
